The wise mans downrigger. More effective for high speed trolling than a downrigger. Attaches to the cleat and runs off its own independent line. The line from the rod separates from the planer, allowing the angler to fight the fish freely. Unlike the conventional downrigger, you do not have to retrieve it each time you hook a fish.

Planer line is 300 lb. test mono, 36ft in length. Packaged in a nylon lure bag.
